AquaSulis Twin Alternating Series Water Softener System

Never run out of soft water with a twin alternating softener. One tank is always live with the second tank in either stand-by mode or regenerating. Ideally suited for large buildings and high volume services, homes, restaurants, motels, and pre-treatment for commercial reverse osmosis systems. High hardness can be more efficiently handled with two small tanks than it can with one very large tank, in terms of both salt and water savings.

Softening Resin

We use 8% Cation resin simply because its the most efficient media for normal water softening requirements including well water. If you are on a chlorinated, municipal or city water supply select the 10% Cation Resin as it is more chemical resistant than 8%.

*Shipping

Addresses with two zeros in their postal code or remote lacations may require an additional shipping charge or we can sometimes break down the smaller sized system into a few boxes and ship it via courier instead of ltl on a truck. Larger systems will all ship on a pallet, LTL. Call or write to find out more about a system delivery.

The right system & the right size:

A resin-based exchange system that uses sodium is still the most effective way to remove hardness (calcium & magnesium) from your water supply. They can also remove ferrous iron and colloidal manganese.

There are a few things to consider when selecting your systems size.

A proper chemical analisis of your water. Do you already have a water test or know your water content? Send it along to us and we can size the system with you.

Peak service flow rate, what is your maximum flow rate?

Don't know your flow rate... Fixture counts are a practical way when you have the endless water supply, well-pumping systems often are the limiting factor and if you're not sure a simple bucket test using a short garden hose from your tank tee/manifold, outside tap or yard hydrant will work great.

Capacity, in a home this is your family size, in a motel its your max occupency, in a restaraunt it could be dishwasher loads, ro pre-treatment is your concentrate, pereate and your flush water. Let us help you find your size.

If you have ferric iron, high iron, high manganese, and or H2S Hydrogen Sulphide, contact us with the details and we can find the right variation or supplemental system for you.

Additional Options:

Clack has made some really great additional options for this valve, including, a vertical by-pass adapter which allows you to shorten the installation room needed and position the by-pass valve either pointing up or down. The is also a mixing or blending valve available for those that need to blend some hardness back into the water supply.
