The Fleck 4650HW is designed specifically to treat hot water. This means you can feed hot water directly into the water softener and out to service whether that be a simple fixture or more often an appliance such as a commercial dishwasher or other appliance.

A special hot water tolerant resin-based exchange system that uses sodium is still the most effective way to remove hardness (calcium & magnesium) from your hot water supply. They can also remove moderate amounts of ferrous iron and colloidal manganese.
