Emergency Spill Response Sampling Kit - for Water
SKU: EMERG-KIT-17
|
Overview
Emergency Spill Response Sampling Kit
This sampling package assists you with cleaning up any chemical spill. This Emergency Spill Response Sampling Kit is convenient, compact, and designed especially for first respondents to a spill. The kit contains all necessary supplies for sample collection for the most common parameters of concern in soil and water.
What it tests:
Below are the contents of the Emergency Spill Response Sampling Kit:
What you get:
Upon purchase of this test, you will receive a complete sampling Kit
Testing Containers – The testing containers are filled with the correct preservatives, do not clean, empty or alter these bottles, use safe practices when filling.
Sampling Guidelines – We’ll make sure you know the correct methods of sampling to ensure there aren’t any hiccups in the testing process.
Chain of Custody – This is a standard laboratory form that must be filled out for the lab.
The Report – Reports are usually aviable in 10 business days, though some labs can rush the results. Call us or your lab to find out.
Does not include sampling safety equipment as what is required depends on various circumstances. Please contact a local environmental consultant if you have questions or concerns about safely sampling. We can provide local sampling if needed.
How it works:
After you purchase a kit on our store/online:
We will ship the Kit to you via express/expedited shipping. In the Kit, you’ll receive the sampling containers, a sheet to show you how to sample, as well as a chain of custody form (COC). The COC form is a standard lab procedure to get the correct information from you.
Once you sample, it’s advised to get the samples back to the lab ASAP. Certain tests like Microbiology (found in most drinkability packages) have a sample holding time of only 24 hours, so it’s vital to get the containers in transit right away. If you wish to drop sample in to our local store call ahead so we can arange shiping to the lab.
So the lab has received your samples, allow 10-12 business days to analyze them and produce reports for you. Reports are emailed when ready. Every result’s turnaround time (TAT) will be started on the delivery of filled bottles back to the laboratory.
For a quick and efficient spill response program, it is important to have laboratory sampling supplies on site in the event of an emergency so that you can acquire scientific data relating to the degree of the impact.
Quick Note: This listing is for the kit only, the testing fees, couries if needed are all extra. If you want us to get your Sample To CARO Please drop off the sample kit in at our local warehouse. It's always good to have one spare kit on site.
