NF Commercial Membranes by Franklin Water Treatment
The Franklin 4.0″ × 40″ NF Commercial Membrane is a high‑performance nanofiltration (NF) membrane designed for commercial and light‑industrial water treatment applications where selective contaminant removal is required without full demineralisation.
Nanofiltration membranes operate between ultrafiltration (UF) and reverse osmosis (RO). This membrane is engineered to strongly reduce hardness, sulphates, colour, organics, and multivalent ions, while allowing a portion of monovalent salts (such as sodium and chloride) to pass through. The result is improved water quality with lower operating pressure and energy consumption compared to reverse osmosis systems.
This makes the FWME4040NF‑1R an excellent choice for applications such as commercial water softening, colour and tannin reduction, PFAS treatment (application‑dependent), and RO pretreatment, where full salt rejection is not required.
